We've been hacked

As some of you may already have noticed, the RPGBA main site has been hacked. While I write this post our host Jeff is trying to find out what the hacker did and how we can get things running again.

At this moment we don't know exactly how he got into the system and what he has done. There are reports that several blogs have been rejected from the RPGBA by the hacker. We are doing everything to get the RPG Blog Alliance running again.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. We will keep you updated!

UPDATE: From the looks of things the hacker only rejected some members and didn't delete anyone. So there's hope we can easily restore anyone's membership status as soon as everything has been checked for holes.

UPDATE #2: The site is back up and Jeff is reapproving the sites the hacker rejected. This may take a while. You'll get another email as soon as you're reapproved. He also reset all passwords as a security measure. This means that you have to let the system send you a new password before you can login. You can use this link to do so.

  1. yup I was rejected, I kinda thought It'd been hacked!

  2. Great job on getting it back up so quickly!

  3. Mine was rejected too to my surprise.

  4. I was "made admin" and then wasn't in the network any more. All solved now.

  5. Yup, I got a rejection email as well and haven't been showing up on the feed either.

  6. @Mark CMG - Odd, because we got your Central Banking in Middle Earth post today.
